Today Adeline decided that she was a walker. I had to take her to the doctor's office here in Grandby (she is fighting a wicked cold with a croupy cough and one of her ears is teetering on the brink of an ear infection) and as we were waiting, she walked across the waiting room, walked from the chairs to the reception desk, from one set of chairs to the other... she was all over the place. Then when we got to the exam room, she walked from the exam table to the doctor's chair, from the doctor's chair to the door, from the door out into the hallway... you get the picture. Even the nurse said that she was "such a good walker already".
When we got home she kept on. She almost seems to prefer walking now. Whenever she wants to go somewhere, she tries walking first. Once she falls, she crawls the rest of the way but she always tries walking first.
It's killing me that Robert isn't here to see her. It's killing him, too! So, especially for Daddy who is hundreds of miles away, here is a video of your baby girl walking.

That cousin (or friend or whoever that is) is such a tease with that box! What a cute, bipedal girl you have there!
So sweet! She's pretty fast at that walking too. She almost caught up to Elijah (that was Elijah, right?? He's gotten so big too!) several times!
Walk over to my house when you get back so we can play!
