writing him into our story

This is the big thing happening in our lives.  And it has gone completely unwritten on this blog. This poor neglected blog.  Amongst the selling, moving, planning, building and all the other big happenings in our lives over the past few months, this is by far the most precious. The most exciting. The thing we are all looking forward to, dreaming about, and anticipating the most.

{12 weeks}

This August, we a preparing to welcome a baby boy into our family. Aughtry Wright Shelton, due August 26th. We could not be more thrilled and joy filled.

{5 weeks}

It's quite appropriate that little Aughtry, our third child, will be born right into the middle of a chaotic time, just as our other two children where. Adeline, born right into the tail end of a move, temporary housing, and home remodel... on Christmas day. Hayes, born into the tail end of a huge house addition project and move and with a big sister that was still just a baby herself. And now Aughtry, who will be born into the middle of our home construction project, the start of Adeline's kindergarten year, and will most likely spend his first few months with us living in an RV.

Isn't life beautiful? The way it can be filled with so many wonderful things at all once. We feel so blessed and are anxiously awaiting the new adventures he will bring to our family!
