So naturally we had to make a trip down to the Trail of Lights at Zilker park. We went last night with some friends. It was a late night, but luckily God had heard my prayers for the kids to take good, long, late naps so they would be rested up for the evening. Adeline slept from 2:00-5:00 and was raring' to go! Hayes also took a great nap, but his excitement was a little more subdued.

It was in the upper 30s, so we were severely bundled up for the walk. Poor Hayes couldn't move at all. He was totally Randy Parker from A Christmas Story.
Shelton family all bundled up
The Leopold family all bundled up
The Duke family all bundled up
The Randall family all bundled up
A close up of the baby bundle... (yes, he had fallen asleep and his head didn't even move!)
Checking out the lights
Warming up by the big bonfire
Inside the huge Christmas tree
Some of the pretty wrapped trees
And a (very dark) video of Adeline dancing to the techno Santa scene

Looks like fun... chilly fun! We look forward to seeing you soon.
Love the picture of Hayes all bundled up and sleeping! His arms sticking straight out is too funny.
Addi could have said, "My kid brother looked like a tick about to pop." That's one of my favorite Christmas Story lines. :)
