Trail of Lights

Adeline LOOOOVES Christmas lights this year!  She liked them last year, but this year she gets really, really excited about them and it is super cute.  I put the lights on our Christmas tree while she was napping one day and when she woke up, you would have thought she had just gotten the most exciting present in the world!

So naturally we had to make a trip down to the Trail of Lights at Zilker park.  We went last night with some friends.  It was a late night, but luckily God had heard my prayers for the kids to take good, long, late naps so they would be rested up for the evening.  Adeline slept from 2:00-5:00 and was raring' to go!  Hayes also took a great nap, but his excitement was a little more subdued.

It was in the upper 30s, so we were severely bundled up for the walk. Poor Hayes couldn't move at all. He was totally Randy Parker from A Christmas Story.
