Adeline and I made it over to the Woodlands to go to the graduation ceremony on June 3rd. Unfortunately Robert had to work. Who plans a graduation ceremony for a Tuesday night?! Anyway, it was great to get home and share in the celebration.
Mike had the great idea to make 'Sarah masks' to wear at the ceremony to show Sarah our love (and completely embarrass her). Natalie had a variety of pictures ranging in age from newborn all the way through awkward pre-teen years and up through the present blown up to 8x10 size. We cut out the faces and put them on paint sticks to make masks. We had about 20 masks and handed them out to all the people we saw that Sarah knows with instructions to 'wear' them when she walks the stage. Voila!... Instant embarrassment! :)
Congrats, Sarah! Off to UTSA in the fall... can't wait to have you so close!
Maw Maw and her 'Sarah mask'
Me and my 'Sarah mask'
Gee-gee and her 'Sarah mask'
Papa and his 'too cool for school Sarah mask'
Samantha and her 'Sarah mask'
Jo-jo and his 'Sarah mask'
Group shot with lots of 'Sarahs'
This is the real Sarah on the right, making it official. It's the best picture I have of her since Adeline couldn't survive the whole ceremony and we had to leave right after Sarah walked the stage. I know my parents got some good ones when they met up with her afterward.

Congrats Sarah! That mask thing is great. Yeah, why would you have a graduation on a Tuesday night?? Sounds like they need to hire a new event planner. :)
