countdown to moving day

The countdown to moving day has begun.  Two more days.  We're moving out to an apartment on Saturday.  

Construction is moving along nicely.  The foundation plumbing is in and we just passed the inspection on that.  There are still trenches to be dug and rebar to be put in plus another inspection to pass before they can pour the concrete, but hey... it's progress.  The contractor says if everything were to go perfectly next week they could pour by the end of the week, but realistically they will probably pour early the following week.  Then the walls go up... and come down.  Demo and framing.  It seems very real when they start putting up and taking down walls.  It is definitely the most exciting part for me.

So it's off to the apartment for us.  Small and bland... but a heck of a lot quieter than our place will be.  I have a feeling apartment life will get old really quick, but it will all be worth it in the end.
