12 month check up

We went to the doctor yesterday for Adeline's 12 month check up.  Turns out the cold she had last week had caused an ear infection (albeit a fairly mild one) so she's on antibiotics for the next 10 days to clear that up.  The cold seems to be gone, so she should be good as new once we knock out the ear infection.  

The good news is she got a reprieve on her shots since she needed to start the antibiotics.  We have to go back in 10 days and if her ear is cleared up, then she'll have to get her shots.  Boo!

Everything else checked out great.  She is now 22 lbs 11 oz and 28.25 inches tall.  That puts her at the 75th percentile for her weight and 20th percentile for height, which are the same percentages she's been at since she was around 6 months, so she's holding pretty steady on her growth curve.  The doctor asked me again if my husband was a "big guy".  Ha!  I assured him that Adeline gets her full figure from me, "Porky Paige".  Yes, my parents actually called me that when I was a baby.  Can you believe that CPS didn't come rescue me from that kind of abuse?!
