November 13 - 15 (The Woodlands)

As soon as we got back from Denison, Adeline and I headed over to The Woodlands to see Adeline's newest baby friend, Jake Reynolds and to spend some time with Gee-gee, Pa-pa, Aunt Natalie, Uncle Mike, Elijah, Noah, Abigail, Becca, and Jojo. Baby Jake's mama, Mindy, is one of my best friends. The third part of our trio, Julie, came in from Stephenville as well. Julie, Mindy and I go way back to High School. Well, Junior High, really. Now we're all grown up, married, and have babies! Wild. Baby Jake is adorable and so tiny. Emmy (Julie's little girl who is 5 months old) is adorable as well and has gotten so big since the last time I saw her! Poor Adeline had to stay home with Grammy since she had a runny nose. I definitely didn't want to risk getting Jake sick because I'm pretty sure you go straight to hell if you infect a person that small.

Natalie and Mike are on the verge of starting a remodel & addition to their house so Natalie and I did our best to go over some finishes on Wednesday morning while the kids played, but well... there were six kids to watch so lets just say we didn't get quite as far as we wanted. Adeline did get to spend some precious time with her cousins which is more important that faucets and counter tops anyway. Thursday we were going to head out in the morning but Natalie called and said she was bucking all her responsibilities and taking the kids to play for the day. It was so beautiful out and a day with the Kellys is always tempting so we decide to stay and join them. Off to the zoo we went.

On a side note, I cannot believe how big my nieces and nephews are getting!! Elijah looks like a boy now. No longer a toddler, not a little boy anymore, just a straight up mature looking boy. Plus he has a mohawk now which is totally awesome! The other kicker is Abigail. She is so tall and looking more and more like a little lady every day. It doesn't help that personality-wise she is (almost) 4 going on 16. Wow... Mike and Natalie will definitely have their hands full when she starts dating (which according to Mike is when she turns 40).
