Today in the car...
Adeline : "Mommy, guess what Alice (her baby doll) got for her birthday. You get three guesses."
Me : "A doll?"
Addie : "No."
Me : "A new game?"
Addie : "No."
Me : "A new dress?"
Addie : "No. She got a wig."
Me : "???"
Addie : "And she really loves it."
Me : "Really? How old is Alice?"
Addie : "Three."
Me : "Why does a three year old need a wig? Is it for playing dress-up?"
Addie : "No. She just likes to wear them with her different outfits. She often wears one every day."
A wig? Seriously? For her "three year old" doll? And it's a fashion thing, to match an outfit? I'm a little worried about what her birthday wish list will look like now.
