sweet music

Claire started violin lessons this year. It's been so incredibly sweet to hear her explore, learn, and grow her love of music.



And I know what you may be thinking...but no, we have not tired of the sound of her screetching bow across the strings. For whatever reason, it is such a sweet sound to us.



It's amazing to watch the process and hear her progress as she practices each night before bed. She's only been in lessons for a few months and already knows a few little songs. Songs like Hot cross buns and Twinkle twinkle. You know, the Classics.



I should note that these pictures were taken about a month ago, when she was still just 'plucking' the strings. She started learning to bow a few weeks ago so she now knows the correct way to hold her tiny little violin. :)
