Happy Independence Day! Being the responsible parents that we are, we kept Addie up WAY past her bedtime and took her downtown to watch the big fireworks show. I knew she would love it... she loves lights and things that scare her a little bit. I'm sure her reaction would have been much more animated if only she weren't SO tired. As it were, she just stared at them in a comatose state, then fell asleep halfway through the show. Funny thing... at home a creek in the floor can wake her up, but get her tired enough and she can sleep through small explosions??
